As we aim to create the most hassle-free platform for data scientists, we have run several interviews to find out how their needs can translate in our data lake. Today, we’re happy to announce that Lentiq is switching to a new and improved UI.
The new Lentiq UI is a faster and cleaner interface that features a detailed main menu (Apps, File Browser, Table Browser, Workflows, Code blocks, Data Store) meant to both facilitate browsing and improve the user's experience. Project and Data Pool Settings are also within hand's reach, because who wants to waste time looking around in search of basic options, right? Time is money, after all. Or better yet, time is coding.
Once you enter the Data Pool Settings, you can find details such as Core & RAM allocation for that particular data pool, as well as information on the Data Pool Managers, Firewall and Query Engine. The projects are also listed, one by one, along with details such as Project Status, Project Owner, CPU & RAM resources, to easily keep track of the who, what, when and how.
Data scientists should be able to work in a smooth environment, so they can focus on coding and on creating viable models. Our new user-friendly platform was built with actual data scientists' behaviour in mind, thus, Lentiq is an asset to data teams worldwide.
We'd like to thank everyone who participated in the interviews - your insights and feedback will help a lot of other data scientists, data engineers and business analyst peers!
This is the first of many improvements to come so we invite you to stay posted and, in the meantime, don't forget to check out our new hip UI. Happy coding!
